Honestly blew me away — hands down the cleanest beach anywhere near Ulcinj. The sand is spotless, the water’s crystal clear, and the whole place feels looked after. Almost nobody smokes here, and if someone does light up, the staff politely asks them to step aside. Huge bonus.
The beach is wide and sandy with a super easy, shallow walk into the water — no rocks, no “ouch-ouch” moments, just straight in. It’s full of younger people, music, cocktails, kitesurfers in the distance — a cool, chill vibe during the day. But by late afternoon the music slowly gets louder, and by around 5 PM it’s full-on club mode. At that point you either join the party or pack up, because “quiet chill” time is over.
Prices are what you’d expect for a beach club: €20 for two sunbeds and an umbrella, or €60 for a cabana (big shaded sofa setups).
And then there’s the food — honestly, it’s restaurant-level good. Pizzas come out wood-fired with perfect crispy edges and proper char (the burrata one is unreal). Pasta is al dente, with real, tender beef chunks — not “beach shack” food, but dishes you’d expect at a proper Italian spot. Even the wraps, fries, and desserts hit the mark — that slice of cake with ice cream looked like it came from a city café. You can tell the chef here actually cares; everything’s plated nicely and tastes amazing.
The road down is a bit rough, but easy enough by car or taxi from Ulcinj for a few euros.
Only one weird minus — the bathrooms don’t lock from the inside. Strange and kind of awkward.
Otherwise? Dolcinium is the cleanest, coolest beach around — daytime chill, great food, and a party vibe by evening.
If you’re driving from Ulcinj, it’s better to stay on the highway until the next turn—not where Google Maps suggests—and take a right at the second turn. This way, you won’t have to drive long on gravel and you’ll come straight to the beach parking. There are signs...
Read moreVery bad and unprofessional customer service. Three times we pre-booked wooden beds with mattress and when we came to the club our reservations has been changed to cheap plastic sunbeds. There are three (!!!) girls who can not organize appropriate reservation. I would like to recommend the management of the club listen to customer's feedback about service and DJ who do not yet understood that music at 150% volume isn't comfortable to listen. Probably he did not recognize day and night or miss open air and night club, but before DJ starts play his set music volume is very comfortable. People can chill and talk, but after 4 pm when DJ start play his live St he put volume to maximum X2 and staying there become very uncomfortable. This disrespect to the customers with children and all people in open air area. Someone must tell the DJ that he must look to the people's feedback. I am disappointed of the management of this Club. Everything here...
Read moreFood, drinks and ambient were exquisite in range of those beach bars in Dubai, Mykonos or Azure Coast in France. However, there is so much more than this when it comes to service and hospitality and Montenegro in general seems to be far behind. Service was bad, had to wait twice more than 30 min to get the drinks we ordered. No one was coming to collect empty glasses and plates so we had to call the waiters. At 2 pm I wanted to order cappuccino when waiter told me: we don’t have coffee anymore.” So I am wondering, for these prices and minimal spend required to enter beach bar is it...
