Grebaje Valley

Lovely nature. I visited this valley in August 2024., thirs time in 5 years. It takes some half an hour from Gusinje by car. The road is ok, but narrow. Wear comfy shoes and take water with you. Great views on mountains. Leave some 2-3 hours to stay here, walking and resting on grass. Great for hiking. The valley smells like herbs- mint, thyme etc, I loved it. Only a few benches to sit on, so bring something like a blanket if you don't like sitting on grass. There are also some eco villages where you can spend a night, have lunch or coffee. Definitely coming again. Best in September....

If you have a need to detach yourself from the "matrix" we're leaving in, this is the right spot! Altitude guarantees a perfect sleep during the summer days (if you choose your company wisely - for me it was a bit of a snoring zoo) and the view at the peaks is astonish! Avoid local restaurants, they did not reached the minimum level...

Beautiful valley with different options for hiking. At the end of the road parking is possible, there is a park entrance fee of 3€ per person to enter the valley. There are also two nice cafes/restaurants close to the parking spot where you can enjoy some snacks and drinks with a beautiful view...
