Exploring the Enigmatic Submarine Tunnel on Luštica Peninsula

As someone who visits the stunning Luštica Peninsula often—especially with Villa Diva just 2 km away—I can't help but be drawn to the abandoned submarine tunnel. This ex-Yugoslav army relic is not just an architectural marvel; it feels like stepping into a living piece of history!

Walking through the vast, echoing corridors, I’m always captivated by the stories these walls could tell. The atmosphere is both haunting and beautiful, with nature slowly reclaiming this fascinating site, adding to its allure. It’s a perfect blend of adventure and reflection, making every visit feel unique.

A few days ago, I even went live on TikTok while exploring the tunnel! Sharing this hidden gem with my followers was such a thrill, and their reactions added to the excitement of the experience.

If you find yourself in the area, don’t miss the chance to explore this remarkable site. It’s a must-see for anyone looking to dive into the rich...

Very interesting place, a part of coastal defence system of former Yugoslav navy. The main tunnel is in decent condition, but all the port hardware has been long gone. Ground tunnels and crew compartments are in bad state, very dark and full of garbage so I wouldn't recommend going in. Still, the views out front are just beautiful, and the sea was crystal clear, so worth taking a swim. A must see for naval...

Spooky place, an old submarine tunnel, used few decades ago by former Yugoslavian army to monitor entrance to Boka Kotorska. The tunnel is approximately 100 meters long and could accommodate 3-4 submarines. Nice place to visit, but my recommendation is to park Your car at nearby Rose, and go by foot, 5 minutes of walk, or by a bicycle. The road is a bit bumpy, and You could damage...

Great place, highly recommend to leave your car when the road turns into sand and stones (it's maybe 200 meters walk from there), after that it's only worse to the point that you might stuck there, and there is no place to go back. The place itself is great, super creepy and definitely worth checking out!
