I'd classify this as a moderate-to-hard trail. We took our car to the trail start, which is this point on the map and where the parking was (5e). 1st 20 mins were abruptly a hard start, then you walk straight through the rocky plains for 60 mins, very easy and lovely views. Then you actually go down a bit before starting the toughest part of the trail, which is about 1hr of uphill into the mountain and towards the peak. Last 10 mins before the peak have some cables (everything seemed in excellent conditions) and is a bit technical, so I'd recommend avoiding crowds (going up early, we began at 9 and that worked well) and taking it one step at a time in this section. Took us about 3 hours to reach the top with 3 short water stops. Incredible views of Durmitor, saw some mountain goats as well on...

This is hands down one of the coolest spots I’ve ever been to — people even say it’s one of the most beautiful mountain passes in all of Europe, and I get why. The drive up there? Twisty little road, sharp turns, cliffs on the side — but the pavement’s good, so as long as you take it slow, you’re fine.

Every few minutes you’re gonna want to pull over because the views keep smacking you in the face — jagged peaks, crazy green valleys, just endless “holy crap” moments. When you get to the top, it honestly feels like you’re on another planet.

Heads up: it’s way cooler up there than down in town, so toss a jacket in the car even in summer. If you’re into hiking, photos, or just standing there with your jaw on the ground — this...

Absolutely stunning drive through the mountains. Awesome views of a beautiful landscape. When we were here end of October, no toll was being collected, but I read in the reviews that often times they do charge 5 euro per person national park fee to pass, which is also listed on the website of the national parks of Montenegro. Ensure you have enough cash on you in case they are standing there to collect it. It wasn't very crowded when we were here. The sunset is beautiful to view from this point. Just beware that it takes a couple of hours to pass this entire mountain pass and due to its narrow winding roads you really don't want to end up driving in the dark here so be sure to plan accordingly, both fuel-wise...
