Pathetic experience. Racist and overpriced tourist trap!
This is the only bar on the secluded beach so they have a monopoly. While that's not a problem, what was concerning was the rude attitude and disrespectful behaviour of the staff.
As a brown person I have traveled all across the Balkans. Nowhere has the staff been so racist as here.
I first arrived from the boat to the upper section. Ordered a juice at the bar and the waitress would rather not deal with me. But that was just the beginning.
When I went down to the foam pool bar, there were no clear instructions on what to do or where to keep my bag. I kept it outside the wall along with my shoes and went to the bar to order. There the bartender said she can't serve me and have to place order inaide the pool.
The waitresses inside the pool were so haughty and full of attitude. Absolutely refused to even look at me. When I asked them, they pretended that they don't know English. Yet all the Serbians and other locals were served immediately. Soon after a bouncer came runnung up to me and rudely said to take out the bag and shoes and started laughing. I've probably been to more countries than his body count.
Finally went to the sunbed area where I was forced to pay 15 eur for two chair and an umbrella which I had to open myself. The only place where there were male waiters and they atleast got me a drink.
After all this I was overcharged for 2 beers at 15 eur. As someone mentioned they take advantage once you've had a drink or two.
The beach and sea is amazing. If this bar was elsewhere they would be shut down within a month because of the disgusting attitude. But its too overcrowded for the size and they only prefer locals. So if you're not I suggest avoiding...

I was pretty stoked about visiting Ploce for the first time. Unfortunately, the treatment I experienced at the entrance ruined the fun, and affected my decision to stay away from this place in the future. At the entrance, a lady was mumbling something in Russian. We asked if she speaks english, she affirmed, but her english was completely unintelligible. We somehow understood she was asking to search our bag (personal stuff and 2 bags of potato chips), and pointed at the sign at the entrance that says "no picnic". We tried to explain to her that the two bags of potato chips are not considered as "picnic", but snack. Since we couldn't talk to her in english, we asked for the manager. The staff kept repeating that the manager was busy at the moment. However, I managed to find him sitting and drinking with another guy who introduced himself as the owner of the place. The conversation with the manager and the owner was pointless, rude and unprofessional. They talked me over, diverted the conversation to unrelated topics, and focused on their monologues. Both the manager and the owner also confirmed that that in their world, the two bags of potato chips are considered as "picnic". My impression is that the business is not doing well at the moment since they need to argue about the four-euro snack. I am not coming back to this place, and hope the management will google the terms "picnic" and "snack" to understand the difference...
Read moreLong time ago...there's a place with beautiful view...water in all pools from the sea..quite and cheap. ..lovely, peaceful beach (my favourite, then)..nature..smell. .music was soulful. ..so u can relax and injoy in your book..songs...food and drink and u would want to come back again and again. ..but now..no more. It's very expensive drinks, food..magazin , too loud , too many people. ..dirty of course. .because all of that ...pne more place who was hidden..now is just comercial place.. No free zone to chase you to charge each deck chair. Water 0.5 = 1.2 €, ice cream more expensive than usual, stone and bad entrance, free zone only where boats come and it stinks of oil every half hour when boats come. There is no place to put towels except on the stones to charge you for the deck chairs, that is their main income. Food prices are higher than on land, and they don't offer anything special. I didn't believe in all the bad things that people say about the Montenegrin coast, but they really charge for air. Shower 0.5 € 45 seconds, imagine. Shocking. Only 1 person is allowed to sit on a deck chair, quality!?! Free shower on the hill, near the parking lot where the queue is and away from your towel and the sea. Poor service and marketing....
