Rafting Camp Modra Rijeka

Really nice campsite. Picturesqe locality. Friendly staff, clean rooms and good food. Nothing to complain with. But we did rafting with them. And I have to say it was worst rafting I ever did. First, they put 9 people to raft. So one of us had to stay in the middle. Even though we all paid equally. We found out that next to the water. So there were no time to complain. But even worse was how instruktor managed the ride. All what he said was "go" "stop" and maybe twice "back". That's all. It was frustrating. Because the water level wasn't so high, it was quite boring during quiet periods. Other rafts did some turns or let people jump in a water and show them how to rescure someone from wather. But all he said was we will stop in a beach in 15 min.Where he actually compete with other instructors who can cross the river with raft by itself without any help. We had no information for how lon are we gonna stay (thats for both stops), or any info about the river or mountains ir whatever. No any jokes, no any words or anything. I had never had an instructor who did not teach anything or even did not say anything during over 3 hours rafting. This guy was totally burned down with his job. I have no any other explanatoin of his acting.

SK Kemp je krasny, cisty. Personal velmi prijemny. Chatky su pekne a pohodlne. A prostredie naozaj uzasne. Rieka pri ktorej je kemp dotvara uzasnu sceneriu. Urcite stoji za to sa tam najest. Strava je domacka a chutna. Ceny o nieco lepsie ako pri mori. Ale teda rafting nas uplne sklamal. Uz sme raftovali vselikde, ale tak mizerneho instruktora sme este nemali. Najskor nas dali do raftu 9 tich, takze jeden z nas sa celu cestu viezol ale platoli sme vsetci rovnako. Asi nikto sa nevyberie na rafting sa povozit na clne bez toho aby aspon symbolicky drzal v ruke padlo. Voda bola nizka, takze rieka nebola zrovna divoka. Dlhe useky bola pokojna voda ale nas instruktor nespravil vobec ale ze vobec nic. Jedine co sme id neho poculi bolo "go" "stop" a "back". Nespravil ziadnu srandu, nepovedal nic o rieke ci okololitych horach. Bola to viac ako 3 hodinova nuda. Este ze sem tam bola nejaka perej na ktorej nas pohadzalo a ospliechalo. Chlapik ani na prestavke nepovedal nic (napr. ze kolko bude trvat) odpratal sa k ostatnym instruktorom a predvadzali sa kto preplava na rafte krizom cez rieku sam bez pomoci. To ze my sme sa uz okupali, vyblbli a nudili mu bolo jedno. Vacsiu zabavu sme zazili aj na Vahu a to te ma od divokej rieky fakt daleko. Co sa tyka rieky a prirody, tak tuto skusenost vrelo odporucam. Naozaj krasna cista voda, hory naokolo su obrovske a fascinujuce. Vybrala by som si na raft ale inu spolocnost. The camp itself is very well located. On one side you have got the Piva mountain river, and whole place is surrounded by a lovely peaks - beautiful. We have rented a tent - price was just 5 € per night for two of us !!! Tent was really confy and had a fresh bedding and even electricity. The owners were really friendly. One young guy told as about the area, and a place itself. There is a restaurant and small bar, where u can taste some local beers. Food was not expensive and very tasty. Same with breakfast. We have also done the rafting. Nice guides and everyone was really friendly, river itself stunning. Unfortunately there was also one negative incident. There were a French kids from a school trip and one night we could not sleep because they were shouting around half a night. The big minus is also a toilet. Small and not really clean, same with a shower. If the owners will improve that, this place will be just perfect. Overall - great location, friendly people. Toilets for tents...

Our whole family came back here for the second time after our first visit in 2023, and we did the rafting tour on the Tara again, combined with breakfast and lunch. It was another incredibly beautiful experience. At this time of year, the Tara doesn't have much water, so the trip wasn't too wild and everyone had a lot of fun. The food is simple but very good. The service is very friendly and attentive. The organisation is perfect and after breakfast, all participants were provided with helmets and wetsuits. Then, six of us travelled in an off-road vehicle to the place where the boat were lauched about 15 km away. And off we went. With two short breaks, during which we could swim in the 12-degree water, we reached our destination after about 3 hours and approx. 13.5 km. The vehicles were already waiting there to drive the boats and participants backto the camp, where lunch was already prepared and served. All in all, it was a perfect trip. Many thanks to the Modra...
