We traveled all around Morocco by car and visited many incredible places, but Sahara Sky Luxury Camp was by far the most highly recommended. This family-run camp truly stands out. Mohammed, the organizer, pours his heart and soul into every detail, making sure everything is just right.
We take flight from Rabat to Errachidia and stayed for two nights, and I’m so glad we did! The tents were both luxurious and authentic, offering truly comfortable accommodations. The hospitality was unmatched.
The camp had a wonderful atmosphere, especially at dinner, where we enjoyed delicious, authentic meals. After dinner, we gathered around the campfire for live drumming and dancing under the stars. One of the most touching moments was when they surprised us with a celebration for our 20th wedding anniversary. It meant so much to us and made the night even more special.
During our two-day stay, Mohammed organized an amazing itinerary. We visited Oulad Chaker, the capital of palm dates; explored a fossil workshop and a traditional market; and took a tour around the dunes to discover the nomadic lifestyle. We met local nomads in their dark brown tents and learned about how they live. We also stopped at the Mifis mine, where cobalt, quartz, and traditional eyeliner are still mined, and learned about the former Morocco-Algeria border. Another highlight was visiting Khamlia village, where we enjoyed traditional Gnawa music performed with ancient instruments.
We had an incredible 4x4 tour through the dunes, but the most unforgettable experience was the camel ride deep into the Sahara. Riding camels, playing sandboard games, and watching the sunset over the dunes, it all felt magical.
A huge thank you to Mohammed for taking care of everything, and to the entire team at Sahara Sky Luxury Camp. The service was excellent, the experience unforgettable, and the memories will last a lifetime. We highly recommend this camp to anyone...

We recently had the privilege of staying two nights at one of the most exclusive luxury desert camps deep in the Sahara — a true bucket-list experience, and one we will treasure forever.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was serene, indulgent, and truly unforgettable. Each day offered the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, wrapped in the timeless beauty of the desert landscape.
A special highlight of our journey was the exceptional service provided by our guide and driver, Mr. Mohammad. Warm, genuine, and incredibly friendly, he made us feel more like family than guests — it was as if we had known each other for years.
Riding camels through the golden dunes, with a gentle breeze in the air and the sun setting on the horizon, was simply magical — a cinematic moment that exceeded all expectations.
Evenings were just as enchanting, with a generous five-course gourmet dinner served under a relax hall, followed by a lively fire show complete with traditional drumming and dancing — a true celebration of local culture.
Our luxury tent was impressively spacious, featuring one double bed and two single beds, elegantly arranged for both comfort and style. The staff were not only kind and attentive, but also can speak in English, making the entire stay seamless and enjoyable.
This was more than just a desert getaway — it was a beautifully curated experience of luxury, culture, and connection. We will leave with full hearts and lifelong...

We paid a significant amount of money and if I’m honest I feel completely ripped off, especially given the value for money we received for the rest of the duration of our stay in Tunis. To put into context text we spent more on this tour than we did for the 5 other days of our holiday including taxis, meals at 5* hotels, massages and a trip to Carthage.
The overview promised oases, waterfalls lively markets none of which we experienced.
The itinerary details a Sahara camp whereas we were in a hotel compound along with the night of drumming by a campfire which did not happen.
The images portray a traditional taste to Tunisia along with alfresco breakfast and camping amongst the sand dunes, again this was very different to what we got.
It was also disappointing that we were the only two people in the hotel, meaning the atmosphere was really poor and we felt awkward for being there when we learnt it was in fact a public holiday. This might be why we had to eat both lunches at the same restaurant. Another disappointment as we passed by other restaurants that we would’ve much rather sampled.
I would like to note that every person we interacted with were friendly and polite, however after tips we paid (that were deserved) we requested a partial refund (an option on the booking) and we’ve had no communication to discuss our experience just a rejected request.
Very...
