We had the most wonderful day with Ali and his family! Ali showed us around in the Palmerie (kids could ride on a mule) and introduced us to many aspects of the Berber culture. The highlight was without any doubt the visit of his Berber village. Ali showed us around in his parental house, and the whole family was so welcoming. We got a delicious lunch, different family members played with the kids, we got henna tattoos from his niece, drunk tea and listened to music together. Hamza was a fountain of local knowledge and guided us through the palm trees, stopping to learn about local pottery artists and their way of life.

Larson very kindly welcomed us into his home for a traditional meal with him. The food was amazing and it was great to learn about the local traditions and culture from him!
