Our only regret was not getting the sand board when we had the option! This really is a great and wonderful place for a camel or sand jars experience, having been to the Agafe desert which isn’t suitable, and having seen other camels all over the country… this isn’t the Sahara but it IS the next best thing. It’s got a cool sea breeze, and if you think the sand dunes aren’t that high wait until you’re standing on the top of them looking down… 😂

I’m a fan of adventure sports and I was wondering if I even had the balls to try sand boarding here having previously thought the dunes would be too small. We walked them, and enjoyed the views over the ocean. I’d recommend bringing a picnic or little snack and water, and sunscreen as it’s worth staying a while and not rushing past.

This was one of our favourite experiences of the whole trip and it was on day one after flying into Agadir. We also surfed and visited Marrakech , Essaouira, and Immsouane but this was just a lovely experience.

We did not see those sea arches on our travels though, so hopefully you have better luck.

Please give a thumbs up if you found...

Firstly we want to order 8 quads but in meantime one person from my group want to also join to this trip on quads.

The quad guy has to borrow extra one quad from his colleague. That was on plus.

Unfortunately one quad broke during this trip (not by us) and the second one had only 1/3 of power and it was almost not possible to drive up the hills. Another minus was for two people from our group because guards sat with them on their quads so they drove together and as you can imagine the pleasure and fun was limited.

Another thing the whole trips was shorter around 45 minutes than should be - 1 hour.

On the end this story, we have to pay 1/4 of price for this broken quad. He also lie to us that there borrow quad from his colleague is already broken and they have problem which is totally not true because broken quad was from his garage.

I got two stars because the views...

Best quad experience I could imagine!

Starting off the staff guided us to the spot, and gave us all the necessary information as well as the equipment like a full face helmet and goggles, even including a hair cap. We were given proper 300cc quads, however there are also smaller ones for kids. The track was very interesting with all kinds of terrain such as the sand, gravel, rocks and the beach. There were a few stops to have a second and take a picture including a local fisherman village. If you are worried that this trip will be one of those boring excursions, you will be completely wrong! Everything, beginning from the friendly staff, to the technical condition of the quads was top tier....

Beautiful location for a Moroccan sunset. The sand dunes are located approximately an hour drive outside Agadir. The road is good to drive and the location itself easily accessible. We booked a tour via Get Your Guide for 70 euros (2 persons) including transfer, Moroccan tea en local biscuits. We where picked up at 17:30 in Agadir and arrived around 19:00 the location. Our advice, try to arrive earlier to have a bit more time to enjoy the view or to do some sand dune surfing. After the sunset you will see the sky change in beautiful colors and slowly see the night sky appear. Definitely a experience to enjoy during your vacation
