Plage David — Attraction in El Mansouria

I recently visited Plage David with my family for a weekend getaway, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The beach offers easy access, which is great for families or groups with children. Upon arriving, we were impressed by how clean and well-organized everything was. This definitely contributed to the relaxed atmosphere.

A key aspect of the visit was the high level of security. There were gendarmerie officers visibly present around the area, which made us feel safe throughout our stay. Even though there were no lifeguards on the beach, the general environment felt secure, and we were comfortable letting the children play near the water, albeit with supervision.

In terms of facilities, toilets were available, although since we visited at the end of September, the bathrooms were closed. This was a minor inconvenience, but the cleanliness of the area was maintained regardless.

The only downside we encountered was the limited food options. There were only two small cafés, both serving a simple menu of omelettes and sardine BBQs. While the food was decent, the variety left much to be desired. If you plan to spend a full day at the beach, bringing your own snacks or meals might be a good idea, especially if you’re not keen on the limited choices available.

Plage David ???? C’était un endroit merveilleux:

C’était un écosystème composé d’une forêt de pins avec une faune et une flore des plus rares dans la région. Une petite plage propre et enfin un petit village paisible.

C’est devenu une catastrophe écologique : une Marina sauvage avec des dizaines de bateaux dont l’odeur d’Essence se propage dans tout le village, des dizaines de jet-ski au milieu des estivants (alors qu’ils sont censés être interdits), des commerces éphémères qui jettent leurs déchets directement dans la petite rivière, des vendeurs de poissons a même le macadam et au milieu des pots d’échappement des voitures et des quads qui hurlent sur la plage au milieu des enfants. Et j’ai encore une liste des autres nuisances si qq un veut en savoir plus.

Des associations d’habitants se battent tous les jours pour freiner cette catastrophe mais malheureusement personne ne les écoute.

A beach I like... In beautiful area with forest and plenty of trees, large fields and windy empty areas and countryside views... A beautiful place to camp in, hang out, jog, ride bicycle and work...
