Dar Sultan (Soltane) The White house On the south side of the river Oued Ksob near Diabat there are riuns of a fort called "Sidi Mohammed ben Abdallah" or mostly Dar Soltane,Dar Soultan or Dar Es-Sultan,Dar Assoltane,Masion Blanche.

The white house or Dar Es-sultan was a beautiful palace once constructed by Hoban a rich negociator of the makhzen. It was given to Sultan Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah before it became the residence of Moulay Abderrahmane, Khalifa of the king in Mogador. When he was king (1822 -1858) it served as residence for high dignitaires of...

Amazing place if you enjoy the outdoors without being cramped by all the tourists.

The place is packed with history and architecture. The river near by is also worth seeing with all the wild life around.

Please note that Google maps wants will want you to go down a fenced off road which is no longer accessible. You will need to take the first exit right after the roundabout (coming from Essaouira, just after the bridge). It is an unpaved road and looks dicey at times but we...

Destroyed by vagabonds and wind 😂 Honestly, this human conditioned age of sheer and utter delusion never fails to impress.

YouTube 'Meltology' and look about you with cleared senses to get a start in unveiling this illusion and the narratives we each have been pushed with to this moment of another reset/ unveiling.

From there, meltology, the drop into truth gets ever deeper, so much deeper 👌🌅

Sun down, nope, sun over maybe... Sun out,...

Really cool abandoned Sultan Palace near the village. It takes literally 7 minutes from the entrance of the village to the palace. Wondering around the palace was one of the coolest things we did in the Diabat village. Taking a ride in an ATV or stroll with a horse ride is nice, too. Please don't forget to visit the Jimi Hendrix Cafe after the visit to relax and to dine or a cafe! Highly recommended visit 👍

Went for a walk from Essaouira (you can go via the beach the whole way, the mouh of the river is dried up; or go via the road). Nice enough, but not much to see, after hanging around for 15 minutes I went back to town. Completely free. Not really worth the 2-hour round trip walking, would only recommend it if you're passing nearby anyway and visit it as a small detour.

You can walk around through the ruins which was once home to people and destroyed by vagabonds and sand and wind. A good opportunity to see something from the past at no cost. There is a grove of trees nearby I also enjoyed walking through. Climb over the sand dunes toward the ocean and you will see the Borj Al barad.
