Beginning October 2025 we spend a few days in one of the hotels just in front of the beach. Since we are not „pool people“ we went down to the beach almost every day, and found all we needed. We could rent sunbeds and umbrellas for 1/10th of the prices in Italy. There was PLENTY of space (official bathing season ends in September. We had the sea with beautiful waves (no life guard - swim at your own risk). The bay is a popular spot for surf camps with lots of groups coming every day. The famous Tamrakht village and surf area for professional surfers is at the northern end of the bay. Other entertainment on the beach include camel rides (for a tip you can just pose for a photo, but a short ride is recommended), horseback rides. There is a base for jetski rental. Finally there is a well paved promenade along the coast which we used to watch the sunsets in the evening. We where overwhelmed be the kindness and the hospitality of the people who we met. Read moreImourane is a great beach. There are toilets, but sometimes they open late (9am) and close early (5-6pm). The times vary. This ruins long walks as of the toilets are not open, there is nowhere else to go. Often, good sellers walking by with fruit, peanuts, donuts and other items.
