It was definitely interesting to see different types of species, however the lady at the front selling the tickets tried to scam my family by attempting to make us pay even more than the required amount which I found very disturbing. Nevertheless the tour received from one of the workers in the zoo was exceptional as he was very well informed on each species present in the botanical zoological garden.

Nice Zoo in the centre of Yaoundé. Beautiful and well maintained space with a welcoming and dedicated staff. A vast species of animals such as Lion, Dwarf Crocodiles, monkeys, chimpanzees, various species of snakes including Gabonese vipers, Python, Black Cobra, parrots, a playground for children, a lush greenery with trees such as Iroko, Quinqueliba, Padou, Moabi. In short, this is a place not to be missed if you are in Yaoundé Cameroon. Joli Zoo en plein centre ville de Yaoundé. Bel espace bien entretenu avec un personnel accueillant et dévoué. Une vaste espèces d'animaux tels Lion, Crocodiles nains, singes, chimpanzé, diverses espèces de serpents entre autres les vipères du Gabon, le Python, le Cobra noir, les peroquet, un espace de jeu pour les enfants, une verdure luxuriante avec des arbres tels l'Iroko, Le Quinqueliba, le Padou, le Moabi. Pour tout dire, c'est un endroit incontournable à visiter si vous êtes de passage à Yaoundé Cameroun.

WOW such a wonderful garden as it is with rich biodiversity. The garden equally has all kinds of plants, flowers and trees of all colours. There are equally medical plants. This garden had a quite enormous land surface of space available. I actually went there for a geographical and historical field trip .

Well, they have quite some animals, but in my opinion, they are fewer than I was expecting. Most of the animals are the rare species and endangered species. The environment for the animals is not well taken care of in my opinion. Snakes were really fewer than I expected.

Le jardin zoo botanique de Mvog-Betsi est un aire protégée public ou l'on retrouve de nombreuses espèces d'animaux telle que :le lion ,les crocodiles (naine et crocodile du nil),des mandrill,les serpents (toute type),la hyène,la tortue terrestre,le perroquet a queue rouge et Bien d'autre ; on peut également y trouver différents type d'arbustes tél que l'iroko,le mohabi etc... Il comporte aussi d'une aire de jeux pour les plus petits ,une salle de fêtes ,la piscine ,un musée etc..... Cest un endroit idéal et paisible pour se détendre et passer un moment en famille ☺️

Un cadre idéal pour balade amoureuse ou de relaxation. La propreté y est moyennement assurée mais j'ai l'impression que la structure est en délabrement malgré quelques efforts de construire d'autres cages. On remarque aussi la diminution des animaux qui y étaient présents car les cages vides sont de plus en plus nombreuses. Les cages vitrées des serpents méritent un nettoyage car c'est avec grand peine qu'on parvient à voir les serpents (les vitres sales ne font que renvoyer le reflet des visiteurs).
