Located 2.5 kilometres to the southwest of the LEDO ROAD (STILWELL ROAD),LAKE OF NO RETURN, also known as NAUNG YANG, is a water body lying on the border of India-Mayanmar , in the area of PANGSAU PASS,on the South of PANGSAU village on the India- Mayanmar border. This lake is 1.4 kilometres in length and 0.8 kilometres in width (widest part). According to folklore , the name LAKE OF NO RETURN is due to aircrafts that flew over the lake during Second World War, never returned. It is also called as LOCAL BERMUDA TRIANGLE . The area is closed to CHANGLANG DISTRICT of ARUNACHAL PRADESH. The beautiful water body needs more cleaning of the surrounding area to develop it to a popular tourist attraction.
