Long,long time ago through the valleys and the mountains of MYANMAR at the village now named Hpa-Han there was an elephant King.."MAHAR SADAN"-he had two elephant wives which both loved him..hmm..one of the actually she adores him,she wanted secretly "SADAN"to be devoted only to her. One day "SADAN KING"took a long walk with one of his wifes,on the road the wife liked so much the flowers of a tree and "SADAN KING" reach out to cut two bouquets for both wifes..When they arrived at the palace "SADAN KING" gave the other bouquet to the wife that she adores him more..but the bouquet was full of ants and got inside of her elephant nose ..she left crying coz she thought he did it on purpose and fell on sadness and died coz her heart was broken... After many re carnations the wife and "SADAN KING" meet again. She remembered him but he knew also coz secretly this wife was his great love.. She used her charm to seduce him and order a assassin to kill him in his sleep and take away his ivory and bring on to her.. ..so he did but "SADANS" ivory could not pull out even though the assassin used all the ways and tools he knew.. "SADAN KING" at his last moments pull out his ivory and gave to the assassin and say...Give this to my lovely wife to keep something from me to remember and tell her that she was always the "ONE"..and passed out The Assassin shaken lay down "KING SADAN"S ivory to the SADANs x-wife feet and speak the words he told him. The entrance of the cave is amazing with all the Buddha statues! And once you get to the very end and pop out on the other side of the mountain there are boats you can pay to take which brings you back around to the front! The boat ride is another 15 minutes which takes you on a beautiful river where you can see the landscape. There is this one particular tree and landscape that is very reminiscent of Lion King.
