Kabyar Wa Beach — Attraction in Mawlamyine District

The wide, beautiful beach is one of the better ones in this country. Even if it is still hard to get to, it is quite worth-it. There are small canoes that can be rented with ease and comfy bamboo chairs placed relatively close to the shoreline which allow you to get a good view of the beach. There is a small pagoda as well. The shallow water is good to wade around in. However, the water is a bit murky and the beach requires a lot of time to get to; around 30 or 45 minutes to get to the beach from the main road....

Highly recommended for a day trip from Ye. Beautiful beach that is just being developed. You can rent a chair and an inner tube, and buy drinks and snacks from many local enterprising residents. The road just behind the beach is full of eateries. The water is excellent for swimming and is sandy and shallow with small waves.
