Crocodile Monastery — Attraction in Myawaddy District

Very beautiful monastery. A pity it hasn't been better promoted, because this is definitely one of the highlights of a visit to Myawaddy. On the other hand, with fewer tourists it's more authentic. Entry is free. A bit difficult to find if you're not familiar with Myawaddy - there are no signs in English. Local motorcycle and taxi drivers...

A temple with great importance for the Karen state, because of the now past away Sayadaw with supposedly supernatural powers. Be sure to not miss the big statues showing all the important events in the life...
