The main beach is a very long white sand beach, lots of resorts line the front of the beach line but far enough from the water line to not "mark" pieces of beach as the resort's area. Some locals sit under umbrellas and sell coconuts and pineapple / trinkets. Kayaks are also possible to rent for 5000kyat pp/hr. (Doesn't matter how long or if single/double, just double or for two people and a completely linear hourly rate)

Up north there is another tiny beach called latha/lantha and that one is much more beautiful in my opinion and also has chilled bars and restaurants in the front. Perfect place, much more than the long main part.

Fishing village (just follow the main road down south up until it just ends. You got it.) and lighthouse are the highlight of the area

Lots of boat tours offered - 35k kyat (20$) is the cost for the entire boat which was comfy for 6 of us but could fit some more probably. Included pick up and drop off at the hotel, and snorkeling gear. No fishing was done snorkeling was ok- but still fun. But don't expect Thailand or 10% of the Philippines. Stop at the island with it's restaurant was fun to chill and have some...

My journey to Ngapali Beach was a serene escape into Myanmar's coastal paradise. Here are some tips for your visit:

Transportation: Fly to Thandwe Airport and then take a short taxi ride to Ngapali Beach. Alternatively, buses from nearby cities are available.

Accommodation: Ngapali offers a range of lodging options, from luxury resorts to budget-friendly guesthouses. Book in advance during the high season.

Cost: Prices vary, but Ngapali is generally affordable compared to other beach destinations. Local food is reasonably priced.

Activities: Besides lounging on the pristine beaches, explore fishing villages, go snorkeling, or take a boat trip to nearby islands.

Dress code: Beachwear is appropriate on the beach, but dress modestly when visiting nearby villages or religious sites.

Timing: November to April is the best time to visit, with pleasant weather and calm seas.

Ngapali Beach is a hidden gem with its clear waters and peaceful ambiance. Enjoy the tranquility and soak up the natural beauty...

What a wonderful and beautiful Ngapali Beach! It's the loveliest beach in Myanmar! The seawater is very clean and clear. It is 7 km long with soft white sand. You will see coconut trees along the beach. The sunset view is fabulous. If you don't like crowded beaches, I recommend you to visit there. There are hotels, guest houses and restaurants near the beach. You will be very pleased with this amazing beach. And you will satisfy and be happy during your holidays. You can do water activities such as snorkeling and diving. Pearl island is a nice spot for snorkeling. You will love to see underwater world. If you love fishing, you can also go fishing. Next, you can go trekking and play golf with nine holes. Don't miss to try fresh seafoods. They are delicious. If you have time, you should visit...
