Parking lots are plenty, so not an issue to park. The parking lot is slippy and a bit dirty, so mind ur steps. Kids wanted to go, so i had no choice. The place is in serious need of maintenance. The water is not clean, to say the least, the slides are not smooth, and the metal structural poles are rotting away due to rust. There are exposed sharp rusty edges, waiting for unsuspecting kids to give a cut. There are trashes scattered here and there. Found chicken wings bones in the beach/ground. People don't respect the dreas codes, and just wear undies or nightwear, like pajamas. Beer cans just anyhow throw. Some slides don't work. Some don't have staffs to manage the flow, so expect to have a total stranger right behind u on slides, and almost always will stack on each other at the bottom of the ride. Or get ur ass and back kicked by one. Lazy river is filthy. Artificial wave, is nonoperating despite the DJ blasting ear numbing beats, like all the time. Food court was okay. Expensive a bit, but taste ok, not terrible. The showers are dark, dingy, and water pressure is .... okay, but water smells like rust, and salty. The curtains are filthy. No hairdryer (not working). Lockers were ok though. I understand because of COVID and freaking coup, the business is not well, and the investment may probably not break even yet, but the dangerous poles and safety hazards needs to be fixed. And keep the ground clean. Now a lot of cigarettes butts, trash and so on, very very unappealing. The area located in a famously notorious water quality (high limestone content plus rust, yellowish muddy water), so when u decided to open a water park in the area, u better be ready to treat the water, or ur park will rust away, and that's what is happening now. Needless to say, i...

Yangon Water Boom is an exciting water park, perfect for beating the Yangon heat and enjoying a fun day with family or friends. Located in the Thaketa Township, this water park has a range of attractions for all ages, from thrilling water slides to gentle wave pools and lazy rivers. The park is well-designed, clean, and features colorful, well-maintained facilities that create a lively, tropical atmosphere.

The slides are a highlight, with options for thrill-seekers as well as family-friendly slides for younger visitors. There’s also a children’s play area with shallow water and splash pads, making it a safe and enjoyable space for kids. For those who want a more relaxing experience, the lazy river and the poolside lounging areas are ideal spots to unwind.

The facilities are generally good, with changing rooms, lockers, and on-site food stalls offering a variety of snacks and drinks. However, it’s worth noting that weekends and holidays can get crowded, so arriving early is a good idea. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring safety measures are followed.

Overall, Yangon Water Boom is a great destination for water fun and a refreshing break from the city’s heat. Whether you’re looking for thrills or a relaxed day by the pool, this water park is a solid choice for a memorable day...

Pls like the review if you find it ok.

  1. overall rating - it's a great place to visit in Yangon with friends or family. Kids will thank you for bringing them here.

2). Plus points :- the rides are nice with a seperate area for kids. The rides have different kind of slides. High and low level.

3).Best ride for adults - Tornado ride is an awesome one to do. But be careful while you go.

4). Negative point - Am giving it 4 star, as when we visited the place, the quality of water was not ok. The wave pool had a lot of dead insects in it. So we didn't use it much.

5). Food court - food court has NO ALCOHOL, so drink before you enter or have a non-alcoholic trip. Food quality was nice.

6). Costume - do carry your own trunks and costume, there's no rental . Or else you can buy from a store inside the park.

Enjoy everything. Happy boom 💪 zoom into the water boom of Yangon. Another reason to love...

This water playground is very first in Myanmar, located in Thar Kya Ta township. Has very large compound and the location it exists is far from crowded area. There's a large car parking for those whoever come to their place. The tickets price are at 20,000 mmk for normal and 25,000 mmk for vip which can play everything inside there. The atmosphere inside is so lit and good for groups of friends and it's ok to bring children. There's also a food court inside and note that no food can bring inside.

Probably the only water park in Yangon! A bit out of the city but it’s really within the limits and it’s not that far (will feel like it if it’s your first time visiting the place). Clean (as of posting time) and the facility is safe and secure. Recommend you spend the entire day in the area.
