It is a very beautiful camping site, also bungalows, interesting Nature all-around! One drives there, thru a moon valley site, thats' what the people call it; The road is a bit dusty and has many curves, one just has to drive carefully; You can also stop, on the roadside, where there is parking space, and view the beauty of this landscape! It is close to Swakopmund; there is Restaurant too; There is a smallish dam you can swim in; There are some animals you can look at! Very nice for children! Many visitors like to go there for coffee + cake in the afternoon; The Place has just changed ownership, and the new owner is very busy to make it more comfortable for...
Read moreMy 3 family members and I absolutely LOVED Namib-Naukluft National Park!! There was so much stunning, varied and diverse scenery, wildlife and places to see/things to do. We drove around the Namib Desert, Sandwich Harbour, through the gob-smackingly beautiful Naukluft Mountain Range, Sossusvlei and Sesriem. Marvelled at the HUGE burnt orange sand dunes, climbed 3/4 of Dune 45 and gazed at the arid beauty and ancient dead trees of Deadvlei. I literally didn't want to leave. For anyone travelling through Namibia, if you have time, you must see all of the awesomeness that Namib-Naukluft National Park has to offer!! 100% highly recommended seeing this AMAZING part...

The most famous area of the park is Sossusvlei, Namibia’s most popular strip of sand, where gargantuan dunes tower more than 300 meters (1000 feet) above the ground. You should also check out the Kuiseb Canyon, through which the Kuiseb River runs when it is not just a...
