Bad experience all round. We were told on arrival that there was an entrance fee to see the forest and Giants playground. Fair enough. The gent started to process a card payment and more people arrived. The payment would not go through due to internet issues, and a very rude woman came out and ordered the gent to deal with the new arrivals, then tried to process payment again , which went through, but for camping as well! So she had to reverse the payment, and then informed us that it was cash only for the visits. Bottom line... quiver tree forest is just a forest you can see from the road. There is no path or guides in the forest so one can get lost finding your way back if you don't take note . Giant's playground is amazing but if you are not spending lots of time, you can also view it from the round and avoid dealing with...

We stopped here en route to have a look at the quiver tree forest. The lady at the counter, was busy with a customer, she barely looked, and didn’t greet us. When she was finished with the customer we said we would like to look at the quiver tree forest and asked her the price. For 4 of us she quoted R480-00 which we thought was an unreasonable fee for having a Quick Look at a few trees. It was her attitude, unfriendliness and ridiculous price...

Arrived in the evening and rude man came out to meet us asking to see our faces before he revealed if the forest was open or not. Once satisfied he quote a price 5-8x that of a national park, and when we indicated it was out of our budget and whether we could just have a coffee before we went on our way, he told us to drive in Ketmanshoop to find...

Stay away. We arrived today and before we asked for the toilet they said we need to pay entry fee !!! Of course we were going to pay and this is not the point but before we pay we'd like to see the camp have a coffee and/or use the restroom !!! That rude lady at reception should retire ages ago or get trained about customer service !!!!

This place is not worth your time and money. The trees are very beautiful indeed. But the owners are so Rude. I don't understand why they don't employ staff at the Gaint playground as we almost could not find our way back. If you don't know how to treat people with Respect you shouldn't be in the business.

The Quivertree Forest houses the Quivertree, used by the locals in the past to make the holders (quivers) for their arrows. The trees house the nest of small bird species that enter their nest from below the nest. We enjoyed a 30 minute walk here and one can soend more more time here
