I recently visited Popa Falls, and I must say it was an incredible getaway. The accommodation was everything I had hoped for—comfortable, serene, and perfectly in tune with the natural surroundings.

One of the highlights for me was the self-game drive through the expansive national park. Although I didn’t spot any elephants or lions, the sheer thrill of exploring such a vast and beautiful park made it worthwhile. The boat cruise, however, stole the show. It was a calming and mesmerizing experience that allowed me to fully appreciate the beauty of the area.

The only downside was the food. It lacked variety, which made it a bit monotonous over time. But honestly, this was a minor flaw in an otherwise amazing trip.

What made the experience even more magical was the weather—it rained, making the landscape lush and green. The timing couldn't have been more perfect, and it added to the tranquil atmosphere.

Popa Falls was worth every bit of my time and money. It’s a beautiful escape for anyone looking to reconnect with nature and enjoy some peaceful moments. Highly...

Popa Falls is located in Namibia's Kavango region. It is around 40 km from the Mohembo (Botswana) Boarder. I was surprised that I only had to pay 20 Namibian Dollars to see this great natural resource, the falls. However when you are lodged at Popa Falls, you can have unlimited access to the falls as the lodge is located along the great Kavango River. The falls are found along the Kavango River, which is called Okavango in Botswana. It an amazing and...

The Popa Falls are beatifica jumps of water. I wouldn’t go just to see them. But if you are traveling through or want to scape from the city, any of their lodges facing the river are a great opportunity to relax and enjoy the nature. We camped in Popa Falls Lodge. Amazing breakfast buffet, the places for camping where very private and with shadow, and the bathrooms clean, modern and with hot water. The little swimming pool was perfect to refresh us :)
