We spent 4 nights in camp 3...the most beautifull setting, but not safe. Yesterday parks boat and vehicle came to warn us that they found foot prints of illegal fishermen. We put most of our valuables away, but this morning discovered that we had visitors in the night that stole what we left out....so how safe is one? We reported the incident and Parks management reacted very quickly. Only afterwards did we hear about a tourist being murdered a few years...
Read moreNice tar main road through the park. Nakatwa Campsite #3 is wild with a great view over the Kwando River. Long drop toilet unusable. It is dilapidated & overgrown. Helpful to have the map from reception which you get for free upon paying fees. Updated fees now include a conservation fee. Santika lookout overgrown & not tidy...

The landscape is beautiful but didn't see any lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, cheetahs,... If you go, expect to see few animals and a beautiful landscape. The signs of the park are few and it's difficult to know...
