Ghorepani is a beautiful mountain village and a popular stop for trekkers on the Annapurna Circuit. Nestled amidst the Himalayas, it offers stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The village has a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere, with charming teahouses and friendly locals that make your stay memorable.

The trek to Ghorepani is filled with scenic beauty—lush forests, waterfalls, and terraced fields. The climb may be a bit challenging, but the reward is well worth it. The highlight of the visit is the nearby Poon Hill, where you can catch an unforgettable sunrise over the snow-capped peaks.

The fresh mountain air, chill weather, and natural beauty of Ghorepani make it an excellent spot for both relaxation and adventure. Definitely a must-visit for trekking...

It's one of the awesome place and you will feel amazing when you will reach there after trekking from Ulleri.

Just keep few things in mind, you need special permit to enter the Ghorepani, get your permit made from Pokhara or birethanti so the cops won't trouble you.

Keep extra money with you when climbing to Ghodepani as the cost are unexpectedly higher than what you pay at other places.

But everything is worth the view and calmness it provides

Don't forget to carry powerbanks and charged torchlight as there is less electricity supply.

Be prepared to be...

A great place to trek to from Pokhara. We took a taxi to Naya Pool, rode a jeep to Tikhe Dhunga. Trek started from Tikhe Dhunga, stone paved trail to Ulleri was the steepest & hardest part. We reached at Ghorepani at evening. Trail was beautiful with Rhododendron trees; we did not see Himalayas on this trail but once we reached the Ghorepani views of Annapurna & Dhaulagiri was wonderful. Bazaar was tiny but had enough lodges & restaurants for many tourists.

The trekking was very good & weather was clear . I went there in mid July , you should have fast drying clothes as on the way up it's a bit hot , On the top it's cold so you should have something for cold weather, On the way back it rained heavily so be ready always with a rain coat Careful when it rains the leaches comes out , try to stay away from the grass & small plants as it will be there , if it sticks to your body you can use salt to remove it
