It takes 17 minutes for a guy who frequently runs, while for me, it took about 45 minutes from where we were staying. There is an entry fee of NPR 50 for Nepalese citizens and NPR 150 for foreigners. The fee is one time, and if you plan to visit multiple times, you need to buy a ticket for each time.
