Poon Hill sunrise is a must if you are trekking. Do make sure that you give yourself about an hour or an hour and a half to start walking before the sunrise.

It takes 17 minutes for a guy who frequently runs, while for me, it took about 45 minutes from where we were staying. There is an entry fee of NPR 50 for Nepalese citizens and NPR 150 for foreigners. The fee is one time, and if you plan to visit multiple times, you need to buy a ticket for each time.

The view is amazing, and it helps if you reach there 30 minutes before the sunrise. We were there in December, and it felt like we were above the clouds and the sun was rising above it. Its a surreal feeling.
