Walking from Bandipur was nice. But when i arrived there not one of the guys spoke english. I asked what is inside and not one if the 8 people could answer or give some information. So i bought a ticket for 100 NR and went inside. I was asking for a torch but they did not give me. I walked without any information in the cave maby 10 meters and could not see that this is much bigger. When i went out, i understood, they wanted to close the cave, one of the guy gave me my money back and they left. I think they all spoke English they just did want to close at 4.20 pm. Not very friendly i can not recommend just of the bad experience with the guides.

Nice cave but not exceptional but nice walk from the city bandipur. Count 1 h to go from bandipur. Take a guide and front lamp Mobile is ok but then watch out your step And grap the rope in 1 hand. Better front lamp Don’t wear flip flop like girls I saw ... totally stupid and unconscious!!! After walk down to city and take the bus to dumbre. Then take another bus back to bandipur. Walking up after the cave can be done but it’s quite tuff and tiring ... good luck. 100 and 100 for the guide. NPR

This cave is beautifully located in Tanahun district of Nepal and even if you are the resident of the city of caves/Pokhara, you will still be amazed by this cave and it's walls (if you could see them ofc). The cave is pitch black (like any other cave would be) and large but be careful to not walk through small passages because you'll then start to feel the lack of oxygen to survive. You'll face Gorkha to the north from the cave's entrance and the bird view of the location is exceptional!

This cave gave me quite an adrenaline rush. Firstly me and my brother decided to walk through the forests to this cave from Bandipur bazaar which turned out to be quite an ordeal given recent rains. The walk is definitely not meant for faint hearted. We had to wind up and down a couple of hills through dense foliage and a lot of insects. The path was pretty steep at places and we were on all four at some spots because the rocks were really slippery. Then came a pack of 4 angry feral dogs which we finally got rid of by feeding the biscuits we got for lunch. The walk through the forest itself was quite calming and nice.

Finally came the cave. At first glance it looked pretty small. But once we entered from the rocks inside, it was like a magnificent cathedral with astounding acoustics. Our view was pretty limited because of our puny cellphone torchlight. At one point, dozens of bats got irritated because of our torchlight which nearly caused me to lose my balance and fall down a cliff. Once again me and my brother were on all four gripping the torch with our mouth because some parts of the cave were extremely slippery .

All in all, we got our rush and came out alive and in one piece. Definitely a must see place if you are ever in Bandipur. Just don’t forget to carry a sturdy torch light, wear shoes with good grip and go in a group if you want to thoroughly enjoy the magnificence...

Siddha Cave of Bimalnagr (Tanhun ) is considered as the longest cave in the Himalayan Region of the world. Cave with the same name is also in Bhimad of Thanhu which is little far from the main Highway (Pritivi ). The Siddha Cave in Bimala Nagar is located very close to the highway so visitors can reach easily though it needs to walk less than an hour to reach the gate of the cave. The cave is very attractive but lacks light, which makes it difficult to walk. Visitors suggested carrying torchlight for a comfortable walk. The guide (which you are suggested to take to enter the cave ) can have a light but if a group is the bigger size it may not be sufficient. It has toilet facilities outside the cave and drinking water too. One can see a very nice view of Bimalnagar / Madsagri river and Mountain view from the entry gate. From the Highway to the Gate of the cave it is good hiking time and fun. The hiking trail is very nice ( well maintain ) Briefing of Guide is perfect (in Nepali) and explains very well. I appreciate the guide very much. The entrance fee of the gate is very nominal .  While going to uphill ( entrance gate ) one can find some restaurants to eat and rest. .. If you wish you can trek to Bandipur which will take around 1.5 hrs from...
