The Syarpu Lake located in the Rukum district of Nepal, is one of the most popular and largest lake in the area. The lake is at a distance of 35km from Musikot airport of Rukum district, also known as “the place of 52 lakes and 53 hills.” The Syarpu Lake is prominent for the wide variety of aquatic species found in it. You can always spot different species in this Lake and enjoy the calmness of its surroundings. The surface area of the lake is about 2.6 km2. The lake drains to the Bheri river. The lake is used for high-alitude fish farming.
