It was really beyond my expectations. When I used to hear about this place, I would think, "What else can we do there besides watching the Butwal view?" But in reality, there is more than just the Butwal view. I felt like I was in heaven in the scorching summer of Terai. The cold, breezing wind made me feel like I had come far from Butwal, as if I were in some fully hilly region. You can enjoy a nice dry picnic in a peaceful corner of the hill. Moreover, you can visit Kal Vairab Temple, which is somewhere on that hill (I forgot the exact location of the temple because we found it while just wandering around the hill). However, I am very disappointed with the so-called view tower of Nuwakot, which is totally trash. The tower is not taller than a one-storey building, and the railing is hanging loosely, likely to come off in your hand if you try to hold it. The tower is surrounded by quintals of garbage, making it look like a dumping site. I hope it will be better in the coming days. It should be taken under control by the municipality or whichever authority is responsible. They could earn well from this place if they managed it properly.

The Butwal View Point is a popular spot located in the Rupandehi district of Nepal, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. It is one of the key attractions near Butwal for both locals and visitors seeking a peaceful escape and stunning vistas. Key Features of Butwal View Point: 1. Scenic Beauty: The viewpoint provides a bird's-eye view of Butwal city, the Terai plains, and even the foothills of the Chure range. 2. Accessibility: Located a short drive from Butwal city, the site is easily reachable by road, making it a convenient destination. 3. Peaceful Atmosphere: The area is quiet and serene, ideal for relaxation or a short day trip. 4. Photography: A great spot for capturing sunsets, city lights, and scenic landscapes. Nearby Attractions: Siddhababa Temple: A spiritual and religious site on the Siddhartha Highway. Manimukunda Park (Phulbari): A historical and recreational park in Butwal. Hill Parks: Other small hill viewpoints around Butwal offering similar serene experiences. Would you like directions, the best time to visit, or any other recommendations?

A distance around 1 km height from Shantichowk upward hill to jungle. Road is good now, you can approach by a motorbike or car or on foot. There is a small plain ground where you can even have picnic (small group). You can enjoy the view of Butwal area. All the nearby areas are seen. Jungle area with natural scenes and fresh air. Many people go on a morning walk and at evening.
