WELCOME TO DHANUSHADHAM (According to Bishnu Puran)

In Satya Yuga, Lord Shiva Killed the Demon Tripurasura With a bow made From the Hard Wood of Maharishi Dadhichi. After Shivaji Killed the Demon Tripurasura, he enstrusted the bow to Prashuram Give it to King Janak of Mithila. After that, when these was a twelve Year Famine in the Mithila

Kingdom, the sky Said that if King Janak Plowed the Earth, rain Would Come, While Plowing in a Place Called Punaura in Sita, When The Plow Was Plowed, Sita Was Born Due to the Plough. Sita Went to Serve and raised that bow of Shiva With her hand Wrapped it with her Right Hand Rajkumar (Prince) Shri Ram Chandra While raising the bow Split into three Pieces and one piece of the right part went into the sky Which is known as Dhanush Koti in Tamil Naidu and the left Part fell into the Dhanushsagar Pond in Janakpur Which is Known as Dhanush sagar Pond. And the Middle Part of the Three Pieces is 20 KM. East of Janakpurdham. The Place is famous as Dhanushadham because it Fell Down. In the Middle of That bow there is huge Pipal Tree (Ficus religiosa) Which is estimated to be 550 Years old. Every 5 and 7 Year of Shivdhanush, A Same nut Grows and Three is a Small Pond Called Patal Ganga in That Place.

With few k.m of black top road & lots of bumps and jumps we finally reach here. it takes more than an hour for us to reach here with moderate speed on bike.one the historical land mark of Janakpur,Nepal🇳🇵located to the north-east side of Janakpur. This temple gets it's name dhanush because there is piece of dhanush which is broken by lord Ram During his marriage with Devi sita. If you want to know more about the folk lore you can ask the pujari. He can explain the story in nepali , maithali , Hindi or may be in more lanaguage i don't know. Yes it look more managed than past. the way pujari explain thing about the temple it is very impressive to hear. major attraction of this temple is the broken piece of Dhanush which growing day by day. The pujari told us that experiment had done to find out the material of the dhanush but the result is none. I think one must visit such a magical & Historical land mark of Janakpur ,Nepal.🇳🇵

Simply awesome place. Thankfully I visited this place. This place has a great history and mystery. It is believed that, according to the epic Ramayana, the bow which was broken when lord Ram tried to attach string to it and got scattered all over the world, one piece is here and is coming to earth surface slowly. It is said that, few years back the visible portion of bow was very few but now it's massive. You can see a lot of metallic substance submerged in the ground. The awesome thing is that, it hasn't rusted a bit. Don't believe me visit and see for yourself. Till the time any one other go I think it'll even grow bigger.
