The tunnel was recently constructed on October 10th, 2023. The tunnel is 700 metres long with 2.13 metres high and 1.5 meter wide. The tunnel is built for easy access to the temple named Churiya Mai, the temple has sacred values. People from different parts of Madhesh province and Bagmati Province came to visit and worship Churiya Mai. This tunnel helps people to reach the temple in about 3 minutes from the East-west highway.
