First or last pass of the three-passes tour. (Rather go last from Gokyo, because from Thame good acclimatization is difficult and the path becomes very long and very hard). From Gokyo pleasant climb. In the upper part often some snow; around the pass rocky with some scree. Like everywhere here: Attention, we are on the roof of the world. The weather is occasionally unpredictable, and then it quickly becomes rough here. (No pics of the ascend because of...

Though very challenging, going to/from Gokyo over the Renjo La Pass is a fantastic experience. The views of the mountains here, including Everest and Lhotse, are absolutely incredible. There are fewer trekkers here than along the main Everest Base Camp route. I’ve done the Three Passes Trek many times and have trekked throughout the Himalaya for over 20 years. Impresionante! Ruta de los 3 collados. Ascensión por el lado de Thame. Etapa Lungdhen - Renjo-La - Gokyo Muy dura. Indescriptible el sentimiento de gozo. Todo el esfuerzo y sufrimiento se ven recompensados con creces con la emoción y satisfacción que se siente al llegar aquí
