Embarking on the Khumai Danda trek was an experience that surpassed all expectations. Here's my detailed review to guide fellow adventurers:

Itinerary: Day 1: Our journey began with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Hemja, a quaint village serving as the starting point of the trek. Trekking through lush forests and charming villages like Ghachowk, we reached Hile Kharka, where the majestic peaks greeted us with awe-inspiring views. Day 2: Continuing our trek, we traversed through verdant landscapes towards Khumai Danda. The trail, adorned with blooming rhododendrons, offered a peaceful retreat into nature's embrace. As we ascended, the panoramic vistas of the Himalayas unfolded before us, leaving us spellbound. Day 3: The highlight of our expedition was the sunrise hike to Korchan Danda. Standing atop the hill, we were treated to a spectacle of colors as the sun painted the sky in hues of gold and orange. The sight of the towering peaks bathed in sunlight was nothing short of magical, etching itself into our memories forever.

Accommodation: Throughout the trek, we stayed in cozy teahouses nestled amidst the mountains. The accommodations were basic yet comfortable, providing us with much-needed rest after a day of trekking. The warmth and hospitality of the hosts added to the charm of our stay, making us feel right at home in the Himalayas.

Permits and Costs: Securing permits for the trek was hassle-free, thanks to the assistance provided by local guides. The cost of the trek was reasonable, covering accommodation, meals, and permits. It was a worthwhile investment considering the unparalleled beauty and adventure that awaited us along the trail.

Overall Experience: Trekking through Khumai Danda was a soul-stirring journey that left an indelible mark on my heart. Surrounded by nature's grandeur and serenity, I found solace in the mountains and forged unforgettable memories along the way. Whether you're a seasoned trekker or a novice adventurer, Khumai Danda promises an experience of a lifetime.

In conclusion, I urge fellow travelers to embark on this Himalayan adventure and discover the beauty of Khumai Danda for themselves. Let the mountains beckon you, and may your journey be filled with wonder and discovery...

About Khumai Trek has explained very well about the attraction in the websites while I was looking for this places. Talking about the Trekking trail, there is not only one trial for trekking in Khumai. We can found route from Lahachok to Armala( through on way) Lalka Deurali and at last Khumai, from Ribhan we can be there as same route of Lahachok but you can start journey from Patikhola ribhan with beautiful scenery downhill valley and connect in Lalka. likewise, From kuibanf mohora we start this Trek. We can Trek korchan hill pipari etc. from Khumai danda. We is marvellous moment for trekkers. Best for short trek. But this trekking place is still unexplore. I mean it doesn't have any popularity for people who live around its range and underrated It must be explore well. Someehere far Machhapuchchhre model trek is trying to explore but still underrated because of ignorance from local government. Now we can found Lodge for stay but better is must have sufficient water gears tent food. When I was in Nepal me and my team tried to introduce route from Ribhan but it is unsuccessful because of unsupported local government.lots of things to say But Machhapuchchhre model trek is doing best for explore. I saw the video in YouTube from Ghumante. Somehow it helps to reach in...

Its lovely and must visit place.

The roads/trails are very steep all the way. And it takes around 10 hrs walk to reach, if you are an average speeded walking person.

The hike is started from Saripakha Village/Ghachowk. You can get there by jeep/tata sumo direct from the hotel you stay in Pokhara. If not then u can get there from local bus from Harichowk, Pokhara.

There are 2 stop points on the way to khumai where you can stay (1st-Tubu Hill Top after 2.5 hrs walk and 2nd Hille Dada after 5 hours walk). Apart this, you can get 3 more stop points where you can get snacks and tea.

If you are trekking for the first time,,, I would recommend to try other trek first and choose this one later as the trails are steep, though its the shortest trek.

Also,,, if you want, then you can go visit Korchan Hill in the early morning around 3.30 to 4 a.m, which is 2.5hrs walk from Khumai Dada to see the sunrise.

3 homestays are available there,,, I stayed in trekkers home, the staff member of there were very humble and caring. The food was average.

The last local will leave from Saripakha Village/Ghachowk at 6 pm.

It's a must go place,, do try for it. Good Luck...
