Baikuntha Taal is such a peaceful and refreshing place to visit. Located about 11 km from Madi, it’s easily reachable with a short 10–15 minute uphill hike through a scenic forest trail. The lake is calm, clean, and surrounded by greenery — a perfect spot to relax, meditate, or just enjoy nature.

There’s a small temple nearby, adding spiritual value to the place. It’s especially visited during festivals like Bala Chaturdashi for rituals. You can swim in the lake, but the water is very deep, so non-swimmers should avoid going in. I personally loved the peaceful vibe, birdsong, and the natural setting.

🌿 Huge Potential for Eco and Religious Tourism

Baikuntha Taal has strong potential to become a local tourism hub — with its blend of natural beauty, light trekking, and spiritual importance. With some improvements like:

Better signage and trail maintenance

Basic rest areas and toilets

Waste bins and awareness for cleanliness

Local guides and cultural storytelling

Promoting homestays and local food experiences

— this place could attract more domestic and international visitors.

🧭 Tip: Bring your own water, wear hiking shoes, and go early for the best views. Great for a half-day trip if you’re in Madi or Chitwan.

A hidden gem that deserves more attention — peaceful, spiritual, and naturally beautiful. Highly...

Very unique, charming and peaceful place in Chitwan. It is mostly Chitwan National park area and located near Madi - Ayodhyapuri. There is small valley then after around 2 kms of tracking comes the surprise... Uead surprising waterfall. Enjoy the jungle plus little hills plus small Upatyaka and waterfall. Some old and rare caves also located here and there. This is also one of the part of the Ayodhya, that KP Oli said as real birth place of lord Ram. ...

Good to visit. Beautiful scenery. Road is not so good but okay for motorcycles also scooters. I advise not to go during rainy days or after rain because you will not find the water clean . It remains dirty . And will be difficult for swimming. Also don’t forget to take any snacks drinks or food items with you . It’s little difficult to find there.
