Namaste Waterfall, located in Dhankuta, has become a popular tourist destination in recent years. It is named "Namaste Waterfall" because, from above, the shape of the waterfall resembles two hands joined together in a 'Namaste' gesture. This waterfall is situated in Chhathar Jorpati Rural Municipality – Ward No. 5, Dhankuta district.
How to Get There:
It is about 10–15 kilometers from Dhankuta Bazaar.
You can reach near the waterfall via vehicle, taking the route towards Hile.
The road has improved in recent years, but you might need to walk a short distance at the end to reach the waterfall.
Parking facilities and a few local homestays are available near the site.
Best Time to Visit:
The best time to visit is from April (Baisakh) to October (Ashoj) when the weather is clear, roads are dry, and the waterfall looks absolutely stunning.
During the monsoon season (June–August), the waterfall has a strong flow, which looks impressive, but the trails may be slippery and risky.
In the winter months, the water flow is less, but it’s still a peaceful and pleasant time for visitors who prefer quiet nature walks.

Talking about my review. I fell in lovew ith this place. After an hour of driving through hilly terrain we reached this waterfall. Parking at your own risk. We started trekking to the waterfall. There were several breath taking scenes enroute. After exhausting all our energy we reached at the waterfall. Trust me, the view burst out adrenaline. We were full of energy. All our efforts in trekking finally paid off. We clicked lots of pictures.

Water was not that chilling cold. After almost 2hours enjoying in the rain. We stepped out. Finally once again downhill trekking. We returned to our home, but this place gave me lots of memories.
