Pilot Baba Ashram is founded by the followers of a spiritual guru called Pilot Baba. Pilot Baba is a famous spiritual guru from India. His name is Kapil Singh. He was a pilot by profession. Mr. Singh used to serve the country by working for Indian Air Force. He was in the post of Wing Commander. Kapil Singh used to fly a fighter plane in the Indian Air Force. Fighter Kapil was in action at the NEFA border during the Sino-Indian War in 1962. During the war, his plane lost control and contact with the base. He was unknown where to land the fighter plane. The authorities and troops had lost all hopes of connection with Kapil Singh. According to Pilot Baba (Singh), his spiritual guru – Hari Baba, appeared in the cockpit. Hari Baba whom Kapil Singh used to consider his spiritual guru guided him to land the aircraft safely.
