Wester-Amstel — Attraction in Amstelveen

You can easily miss this place (or think it's just another private property) if you're cycling along the Amstel river and I suppose that's part of its charm. You can walk around the whole property (free entrance) and appreciate its peacefulness and the different views. There is also a free audio tour available telling you its history throughout the centuries narrated in a way that is easy and interesting to follow. If you are looking for a place to escape to that is just a short cycle away from the city, this is the place! You cycle along the Amstel River to get here (highly recommend this cycle).
