My kids went to the Terragon summer camp last year and they both claim it was their best summer so far.
They rushed me every morning to be on time because they didn’t want to miss the morning story full of magic and mystery that set the tasks for the day. They roamed freely making friends. Some were local and like us, others had come from another country. They used their imagination and resources they found around to build bridges, shelters, caves or anything they thought was needed for their games or by the caracteres in their stories.
They painted, made sculptures with clay and paper. My 7-year old loved getting fresh eggs from the chicken’s house and they both loved the activities with the animals like riding the ponies and helping herd the sheep. My 10-yr old loved playing soccer and running freely playing hide and seek. The acrobatic clases were always a hit. The bread on the stick they learned how to baked on the fire there has become a staple in our camping trips ever since.
Every day there was something special that they will tell me about. They wouldn’t want to leave. Secluded from the noise and fastness of the city and daily school routine, I am glad there is a place like Terragon were kids can be themselves. I have no doubt that the memories from that summer will be forever in their mind. We are thankful to the Terragon family...

Claudia, Minne, and the rest of the Terragon team put us (and our boys) at ease instantly.
Big, genuine smiles greeted us as we dropped off our boys near Metro Station Zuid to be driven to the camp grounds. They played new games, made up games with the other kids, and came home with tired bodies (which I appreciate) and energized minds. My favorite part was that it's all outside and so collaborative. The kids make meals together, build together, and even pick up some new words from each other (and not just in their primary language).
It's easy to applaud the Terragon team for what they do and how they do it. Just don't forget the great mission behind why they exist in the first place: to promote self-sufficiency, co-creation, and connecting with nature in your own way and at...
