I recently had the pleasure of visiting an Subtropisch Zwemparadijs and wanted to share my overall positive experience. This review highlights the exceptional staff service and their commitment to maintaining high standards of water hygiene. However, I must mention a few aspects that could be improved, such as limited space and a lack of attractions and smaller pools.
Let's start with the positives:
Friendly and Attentive Staff: The staff at this aqua park were outstanding. They greeted visitors with warm smiles and were always ready to assist. Lifeguards were vigilant, ensuring the safety of all visitors, which was very reassuring.
Impeccable Water Hygiene: Maintaining cleanliness in a water park is crucial, and this aqua park excelled in that aspect. The water quality was excellent, and I noticed staff members regularly monitoring and cleaning the pools and attractions. This attention to hygiene is commendable and contributed to a worry-free experience.
Variety of Water Activities: While the aqua park may have limited space, they managed to offer a decent range of water activities. Slides, lazy rivers, and splash pads provided entertainment for visitors of all ages. I particularly with my six year old daughter enjoyed the thrilling slides for all ages.
Now, let's address the areas that could be improved:
Limited Space: One drawback of this aqua park was the limited space available. During peak hours, it felt crowded, and finding a place to relax became a challenge. Expanding the park's footprint or optimizing the layout could greatly enhance the overall experience.
Lack of Attractions: Although the aqua park had some notable attractions, I felt that there could have been more variety. Adding additional features such as water games, or interactive water features would significantly enhance the experience and provide more entertainment options.
Small Pools: The size of the pools was a bit disappointing. While they were adequate for younger children, they felt cramped and limited for older visitors who wanted to swim or engage in water activities. Increasing the size of at least a few pools would be beneficial.
In conclusion, my visit to this aqua park was enjoyable overall, thanks to the friendly staff and their commitment to water hygiene. Despite the limitations in space, attractions, and pool sizes, the aqua park managed to provide a fun-filled experience. I recommend this aqua park for families with younger children, but those seeking a wider range of attractions and larger pools may want to explore...
Read moreWent here last month with 2,5 and .5 years old. They both enjoyed the facilities and so did we! First of all, water temperature were good in all pools. Well, I’m the largest I would prefer 1-2* warmer, but that’s my taste, it was absolutely fine. Plenty of slides for kids from very young age (a years old, I guess) and to older kids. Nice indoor sun beds.
Few complains, or let say, points for improvement: food offered there should be improved. Very basic and unhealthy. it would be nice with at least a sauna or two, we really did miss that and it makes us consider alternatives. lockers require coins, which were in our car 15 minutes walk. We managed to pay with the card to get the coins, but perhaps a better system with a ticket would be nice.
We didn’t have time to explore the rest of the area, but it looked very nice and we will come to stay overnight sometime. Even day trip is well worth a 1.5 hour drive from Brussels to escape cold...
Read moreIt is not big, but it is 100% enough for children. The main feature is that there is very warm water, 30°. Pool insight with access to the street, pool with waves, jacuzzi. One relatively large slide, one like a stream down the street with a strong current, and a few more small ones. There were almost no queues, tickets were either from the morning to 9:00 p.m. or from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., after 6:00 p.m. the people who came in the morning left and it was generally quite empty. Tickets can only be bought online. To rent a drawer for things, you need a €1 coin, after which it...
