I planned a trip to this place as special event for my kid's birthday, seeing all 5* reviews we had great expectations but were extremely disappointed. Because of the nice weather, the park was full and we used an overflow parking (this will become important at the end). We stayed in the park less than an hour, that was enough for my kid to get sensory overload, hit his lip and start screaming... From there on we experienced all the bad organization/terrible management - we needed a calm place for him to rest, but the only restaurant had an enormouse queue, it was taking 10 minutes to order a bag of fries, there was not much to choose from so I cannot understand why it was taking so long to server 1 client. So we decided to leave, but the entire exit was blocked and they told me, standing by the red line that takes a second to unfasten and let us out while I was holding tired screaming kid who is about 20kg, to walk through their f* gift shop... packed with people and baskets on the way! When we returned to the car and drove to the exist, we saw a sign "get your exit coins at the entrance kassa" - what? Walk half a mile carrying a kid to get a damn coin? Remember the overflow parking? We did not see the sign at the entrance as we turned left before that! We bought our tickets online and skipped the queue, nobody offered us any coins. Luckily, they let us drive away. The park itself may be ok, but I did not find anything worth the drive and the price tag (2 parents + 3 y.o = 36 euros). In the smaller kids area, there are dozens of slides of the same type. There is a train riding around and I cought my kid twice trying to run along the railways. On the very special day, I got only stress and nothing more! Not safe, crowded, badly managed,...
Read moreOur recent visit to Linnaeushof Speeltuin was a mix of frustration and delight. Initially, we were disappointed as the waterpark opened later than expected, and the information wasn’t clearly stated on the website. To make matters worse, one of the staff members responded rudely when we inquired about the opening time. However, after lodging a complaint, we were pleasantly surprised by the prompt and courteous response from the management. They apologized for the inconvenience and even provided us with two free tickets for our next visit.
Despite the initial hiccup, the waterpark itself is fantastic. It offers plenty of shaded areas for families to relax, making it a perfect spot for a sunny day. The swimming facilities are well-maintained and provide a fun and safe environment for children of all ages.
The play park is thoughtfully divided into sections based on age groups, catering to babies, toddlers, and older kids. This organization ensures that children can enjoy age-appropriate activities, and parents can have peace of mind. Overall, Linnaeushof Speeltuin is a wonderful destination for families, and we look forward to our next visit, thanks to the management’s swift resolution of...
Read moreHaving read previous reviews I was sceptical as to what this giant playground would be like but it was a huge hit. We went in August but it wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be. Lots of play equipment without anyone on it, always something else to go on. There were a couple of things which weren’t working, that needed some maintenance but it was a tiny percentage of the play equipment. Water area was busy but clean and lots of options for much younger kids and toddlers. We were really impressed. It’s not cheap but is a whole day of fun without the queues you would find at Lego land.
We brought our own lunch but had ice creams and didn’t have to queue for very long. Loads of shady places to eat and seating areas.
A miniature world (police station, drive thru burger restaurant, petrol station) featuring trikes instead of cars was especially well loved, lots of imaginative play. Plus the huge sand pit which was clean and equipment well kept. Drinking water taps around the park so we could fill up our water bottles. Big hit, we...
