Nationaal Park Zuid-Kennemerland — Attraction in Bloemendaal

This national park makes a nice change of pace from the urban sights that made up most of the rest of my holiday. I hired a bicycle and spent the afternoon cycling between Ijmuiden and Zandvoort. The lumpy dune terrain makes for a relatively strenuous ride compared to the general flatness of this part of the world, but the cycle routes are (of course) in excellent condition. Best place to park is at the Parnassia San zee restaurant at park ( if you visit the restaurant after you walk, make sure you have a credit card, no cash payments).
