We visited the gardens yesterday and it was the most interesting site we have had the privilege to find on Bonaire in the fourteen years we have been coming here. Manuel is so knowledgeable about the true nature of not only the island, but how we can and should interact we nature itself. Just a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to listen to. At every step he tells you something new about how we can interact with native plants and they naturally benefit us without the use of chemicals. Passed this place many times, and on the last day in Bonaire decided to stop in just to see what it was all about. Manuel was a very nice host even if we only stayed a few minutes. I am an AVID diver and base most of my vacation time around my diving, HOWEVER next time I get to Bonaire (Summer 2020) I plan to spend several hours with Manuel. You'll learn about many traditional herbal treatments as well as the owner's fondness for drinking sea water.
