D21 & D22 — Attraction in Borger-Odoorn

An excellent prehistorical location of five dolmens, all photogenic (dolmen D21 the most) because they all stand in the middle of nature surrounded by trees. It's very special to see these dolmens from the Neolithic era with huge rocks that came from the southern part of Sweden and Finland during the Ice Age about 150,000 years ago. Wat kleiner hunebed, meteen naast D 21, een wat groter hunebed. Wat bij dit duo opvalt zijn de prachtige bomen in de directe omgeving. Een brand heeft wel de boom bij D 22 flink beschadigd. In totaal zijn hier 5 hunebedden bij elkaar en daarnaast nog grafheuvels. Een mooie plek, voor fietsers en wandelaars...
