We stopped by here and Cas Abao/Abou during our Virgin Voyages cruise stop at Curaçao (we rented a car and drove out to Grote Knip, which took about 45 minutes). Although we read online that there was an entry fee, there was no one at the gate, so we got in for free.
The chairs were $5 for all day rental. You just pick the chair you want and they'll come around and charge you for it, but it's possible you can use it without getting charged for it if they miss you! Again, got to use the chairs for around 90 minutes for free.
Drinks were cash only; a corona was $5 USD. It's nice that you can drink on the beach. We absolutely held our beers in our hands while actually in the water, too. Bathrooms and showers are pay by usage, 1 ANG, cash; you can probably pay 1 USD but you'd be overpaying, technically. This system kinda sucks because I feel like it encourages people to just go pee in the ocean.
Don't leave food in your bags--the resident wild pigs will sniff it out and absolutely steal away with it and eat it!
