If you are organizing a solemn memorial event and you expect 100.000+ people, and you start your website with ā€œthere is no parking spaceā€ then competence is not your strongest point.

When people have to wait 1 hour+ for the shuttle bus in the blistering sun, when the actual remembrance apparently is for VIPs only and only visible on one big screen pointed into the sun and therefore invisible, well.. see above about competence.

Learn from the Navy Days. These guys know organization. Read a book on crowd control.

1 star for the Dakotas, another one for the Lancaster flypast. I had a good day, but not because of the...

the 75th celebration of the airborne was.. well, impressive, however it was also just like the normal airborne that they hold every year. This time with thousands of people more. it was a major problem trying to find your way around the crowd. i feel like it was good,...
