The artist Daan Roosegaarde developed this 600 metre cycle path that contains thousands of twinkling coloured stones. The stones are charged by daylight and display fragments of the famous Starry Night painting by Van Gogh. This form of ‘techno poetics’ is the contemporary artist’s ode to the old Master. The cycle path can be found in the location where Van Gogh was inspired and made a big part of his oeuvre.
