Tijdens het lopen van het Pieterpad de afslag naar Genneperhuis genomen. Het uitzicht is mooi. De ruïnes zijn jammer genoeg maar beperkt zichtbaar. Helaas heeft het huis een Franse legermacht niet overleefd. Wel is er veel moeite gedaan om de geschiedenis van Gennep en het Genneperhuis door middel van informatieborden duidelijk te maken.
