Faunapark Flakkee — Attraction in Goeree-Overflakkee

A very nice and very small zoo with an eccentric collection of small exotic cats, squirrels and rodents. They also have some owls, capybaras, wallaby's and alpacas. The layout is not a loop and more trail-like so you have a little bit of a wandering and discovery experience which is quite nice. The animals are also quite findable in there enclosures which is always nice. Toilets could be cleaner and it would be nice and some animals seem a bit lonely. Very nice experience. It is a small zoo with various sorts of small animals. It seems that animals are in good hands. Cages are full with green plants, places to hide or just relax for animals. They have a small neat playground. Near to it there is a kassa where you can buy stuffed toy animals or even some souveniers from animals exp. Feather from peacock. And etc. Also you can buy some beverages, ice creams. Free parking. We were with our 5 years old daughter....

Great exhibits for such a unique location. Positive enclosures and friendly staff.

A wonderful selection of animals with many unique species that are under-appreciated in traditional zoo’s.

Staff were attending enclosures during the visit so you could see that the habitats are taken care off.

The route and some of pathing were odd but gave a unique experience. Some fencing made it hard to see some animals.
