Imkerij Immenhof — Attraction in Heumen

This is the most idylic and peaceful place you will find in the whole Netherlands! The airbnb was perfect, similar to a balinese lodge with a lot of wood and cozy atmosphere. We stayed one night but wished we stayed for longer. The gardens are the highlight of the place, with lots of flowers, greenery, cozy hammocks, and even a treehouse for the kids to play. Everything has been created with passion and that reflects in the entire farm. The bee tour was so informative and fascinating, followed by a honey tasting session. We absolutely loved the balinese gardens where we had the chance to have breakfast (with plenty of vegan and gluten free options). A beautiful little sanctuary of calm. I would never have known it was just off a main road, it is so peaceful. The cake was lovely, with lots of options, a nice cup of coffee too. The gardens are so pretty, and the kids area is phenomenal-what an amazing tree house. Lovely bee houses too. We spoke with the owner who was so kind and helpful. Can't wait to come back again. IMMENHOF, schrijf ik met hoofdletters. Rondom een imkerij is in 10 jaar een explosie van tuincreativiteit gaande. Elke keer verbaas ik me en heb diep respect. Uiteraard waren er bloemen en planten nodig voor de bijen, daarna ook waterbehoefte, vandaar de vijvers, fonteinen en tafelschalen met geurige bloemen. Mooi idee hoe deze essentials dan gepresenteerd zijn als bevruchtingsplek, of stressvrije rustplaats. DeJapanse tuin, dessa's en pleinen met pergola's, schommels en hangmatten vinde wij mensen dan weer aantrekkelijk en rustgevend. De golvende muur met planten die niet staan maar hangen in anti onkruid doek doen het voortreffelijk en verbazen door hun anino. Hoe dit kan na 33 dagen droogte? De nu reeds aanwezige foto's passen bij dit verhaal. Velen stelden al prachtige foto's en meer algemene beschrijvingen beschikbaar.
