Bussumerheide — Attraction in Hilversum

Not far from Hilversum city center (nearest train station, Hilversum Mediapark). Great to make a bike or hike tour. Not busy in early mornings and evenings. Could have been a bit more R&R to relax and have a drink now only two places, la place on Laren side and a restaurant heidezicht on Bussum side. Lot's of the green areas around it are connected or mostly connected so possible to go to Laren, Bussum, Eemnes, the nearby forest area in 's-Graveland, Westheide via nature walk and bike paths. Once you get inside the fence of the nature park (and away from the little yapping or big barking dogs) you can enjoy a carefree, peaceful walk. There are lots of little pathways to explore through open heathland into small forested areas and acorn-strewn copses. Try walking further afield, south to Westerheide, to enjoy more of the landscape.
