Beautiful field, terrible people. We came during the cutting of the tulips and we were advised from the entrance (for which we paid) to hurry before the tulips are cut. There, we were walking between fields when the tractor suddenly came on our way (there were many other fields that could have been cut before). We moved two fields aside stepping carefully between the tulips when the tractor driver started yelling at us that we are breaking his crop and that we should've moved just one field... He was very rude and angry for absolutely no reason since he essentially came on the field we were walking and scared us. When we raised this issue to the woman at the entrance she simply was defensive, without any acknowledgment of our problem. We left frustrated and never again we would come back.
Please, don't allow people in if you are using the tractor. Also, if you want tourists, you should also take into account the possible damage they may do. Becoming frustrated and then lashing out at random people for running away from your tractor is very bad practice. Close your field to tourists if you cannot...
Read moreIn the beginning I thought that this is such a nice place to visit the tulip fields in the Netherlands. However, I changed my mind completely when I interracted with the people working there. I was walking on the tulip fields where I was pointed by the lady at the entrance and all of a sudden a tractor collecting tulips was driving straight next to the line I was walking on out of all lines (I have to mention that the lady at the entrance mentioned that we can walk there). The tractor driver was very rude and was angry that we were there despite that we were told we could walk there!!!! I believe that tourists should be not allowed on the tulip fields when the tractors are working but they didnt care about telling us that we should not walk there. On the contrary the lady at the entrance told us that its better to start with that area! They don`t care about the safety of the tourists, they just care that they get their 5 Euro entrance from tourists. Next time I will make sure to choose a better location to visit the tulip fields since there are plenty of them in...
Read moreI recently visited the Tulip Store Showgarden in Lisse, Netherlands, and it was a delightful experience. The garden features over 500 varieties of tulips, including unique mixtures created by the growers themselves. The vibrant colors and diverse blooms made for a stunning display.
The garden is thoughtfully designed with various props like vintage tractors and flower bicycles, enhancing the visual appeal and providing great photo opportunities. Additionally, there’s a bulb shop on-site offering a selection of souvenirs and the chance to purchase bulbs directly from the growers.
Practical amenities include ample parking and on-site restrooms, making the visit comfortable and convenient.
Overall, the Tulip Store Showgarden offers a serene and colorful retreat, perfect for flower enthusiasts and those seeking a peaceful outing amidst...
